Weed Control on Road Edges

Recently we had an enquiry from one of our regular customers, who was in need of weed control on a large industrial site. However the customer was adamant that he did not want to use any harmful chemicals on the weeds. For this task we used specialist brushes designed to cut into the roots of the weeds and pull them out of the kerb. The unique design of these brushes allowed us to attach them to our Scarab Merlin Road Sweeper, therefore as the weed was pulled from the ground the road sweeper was able to use its built in suction to collect the weeds from the roads.

As you can see from the attached images, the unique brush design (shown above) was able to remove even the most stubborn weeds that had not been removed by regular sweeping.

As you can see from the before and after photos the weedbrush was able to pull out the weeds and leaves the kerb edge weed free. The client was very happy with the results and would like to book us on a regular visit to continue with the weed control, in addition to their regular sweep which keeps the industrial site looking clean, tidy and presentable.
